As the poultry industry has tried to meet industry needs, they've single handedly bred the Heritage Rhode Island out of existence. If you don't believe me, try to find a breeder, you'll find it very difficult.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHeritage Rhode Island Red are the most successful dual-purpose breed.
